he did not want any violence in his satyagraha but by seeing violence and due to that death of some police officials he called off his civil disobedience moment.
The violence broke out in chauri chaura where the unpaid labourers killed police officials . by seeing all this mishap gandhi hi called off civil disobedience moment.

Civil disobedience movement is the type of .Non _Cooperation movement .on march 12' 1930, Indian independence leader Mohandas Ganghi begins a defiant march to the sea in protest of the british monopoly on salt his boldest act of civil disobedience against British rule in India .
on march 12 Gandhi ji set out from sabarmati with 78 followers on 241 mile march to the coastal town of Dandi on the Arabian sea    .There Gandhi and his follower protest to British rule in India that was also called as salt march ... He had planned to work the salt flats on the beach this type he created this movement. first in Nagpur he was started on december1920 to the Non cooperation .
