Mandela the former president of the Republic of South Africa and Nobel Peace laureate had spent 27 years of his life in the prison.

He was a central figure in the struggle against South Africa's brutal and restrictive racial regime called as the apartheid.

With the mass movements he wanted to bring racial justice and equality in the South Africa.
