Patol Babu was shocked, disappointed and enraged at having been given just monosyllabic dialogue ‘oh!’  He wondered if those people were pulling his leg. He considered it to be a hoax. He wondered how anyone could be so cruel! They had called him into the middle of the city to make a laughing stock out of him.
