What did peggy and other girls think about wanda petronski? how she was different from others?

Peggy and the other girls thought that Wanda was a liar, who was poor and dirty. She lived in a poor area, coming to school with feet caked in mud and wearing a dirty blue frock. She was different as she lived in a poor community, and always claimed to have a hundred dresses, lined up in her closet. She was a migrant and was hence treated badly by others due to her long and apparently ‘weird and funny’ surname.

I’m not very sure as it has been a few months since I wrote my boards. Please look at the second or third page of the chapter, it will be mentioned throughout a paragraph.
