Revathi was a music lover, who loved to play 'mohanam' on her violin. She had once kept a few pots of balsam plants in her balcony . One day , while playing her favorite tune, she noticed that the Balsam plants were tilting towards her . When she tried a different tune, the plants moved away from her.

One day, when Revathi was playing her favourite tune i.e. $Moharam$, she saw at the corner of the wall, a pot of balsam plants. They were not looking healthy and their leaves were of pale green leaves and their growth was stunted. Suddenly she remembered that she had learnt that plants need sunlight for their growth. So she shifted the pot to the centre of the courtyard where there was ample sunlight. After some days her plants were looking healthy. Then she sat to play her favourite tune on violin. She noticed a small movement in the plants. She continued to play the tune. After some time, the plants started bending towards her. She played a different tune then she noticed that the plants started moving away from her. She again played her favourite tune and confirmed about the new discovery that plants are music lovers.
