Roberspierre's period was known as The Reign of Terror. In this period, he tried ways to establish equality in france but in a very brutal way which was hated by everyone. He wanted everyone to abide by his methods which he thought would establish equality. People who didnt go with his methods were executed by him. Even his supporters protested against his methods but as a result were executed.

Roberspierre made all it equality bread. He shut down all the churches and made offices from them. He became harsh on all the clergies and nobels. He order everyone to be addressed as citizen n not mam and sir.
