Hunger motivates many of their actions. The young seagull used to sit all alone on his ledge. Whenever he tried to flap his wings to fly, he was seized with fear. He felt certain that his wings would never support him.......

Answer:

Here is your answer.

Explanation:

Yes, I think that hunger was a good motivation for the young seagull in his first flight.

"He waited a moment in surprise wondering she didn't come nearer and then maddened, he dived at the fish." This clearly shows that he dived only because of his hunger. His parents, brothers and sisters have gone to the other side but he didn't go because of his fear to fly. He was starving and was very hungry. Her mother came with a fish to give him but she halted at some distance. He was maddened by hunger, therefore he dived at the fish forgetting that he fear to fly. This shows that if someone is hungry he forget his like, dislike , power, fear, etc. So, hunger was a good motivation for the young seagull.
