Bassanio , simply accepts the fact that he has been a soendthrift and has always been spending money and taking loans from antonio depite paying him back.

he gives example of him throwing an arrow and then he woukd shoot another one, sometimes he would find one but couple of times both or sometimes ,none. he tries to convey,that his affection was the apex reason for him to be always indebted and always taking loan from his friend.
