The World We Want is one where education is a leveller. We are firm advocates of learning and evolving. Isn’t knowledge power? Isn’t literacy a right for all?
Fact is, 57 million primary-aged children remain out-of-school with over half of them in sub-Saharan Africa. Over 103 million youth worldwide lack basic literacy skills and 60% of them are women. In developing countries one in four girls is not in school. Without education there is no awareness, no understanding, no future. We ask: have we not learnt anything from this?
