The objection was that the Duck's feet were cold from water which would trouble the Kangaroo if the Duck sat on his back for the ride.
The Duck solved the problem by himself. Fortunately, he was carrying a pair of wollen socks which would keep his feet neat and warm. He was also carrying a cloak and he would smoke a cigar daily and enjoy the company.
The Kangaroo then agrees for the ride and they set out.
