glum faced man is the actual Marshall but Mr Easton who tends to be as the Marshall just to hide his hand which is hand cuffed by the actual Marshall sitting beside him from in front of the lady sitting in front of her who was his old acquaintance.

glum faced man says that Marshall was very busy and had to see the prisoners in cell so he was been handcuffed .
