Explanation:

The Tawa Matsya Sangh (TMS) agitated for their right of fishing in Tawa river. In 1996, the Madhya Pradesh government decided to give to the people the fishing rights. With the TMS taking over the fishermen were able to increase their earnings. This was because they set up the cooperative which would buy the catch from them at a fair price.
