The monotheistic movement represented bhakti of only one God, ie; was non-incarnate and formless, eternal and ineffable. It orientated Nirgana. ... It was different from Vaishnava bhakti as monotheistic movement believed in one God which is formless,eternal where as the Vaishnava bhakti believed in many Gods.
