they are very hardworking boys. the do jobs beyond their age. the do many brisk business . they shined shoes,hawked newspapers and are guides for the tourist

Nurse told the narrators that the girl who was lying on bed was the sister of the two boys whose name was Lucia ....she told him that the boys were working so hard just to pay for the treatment. They belonged to a good family .There sister was suffering from tuberculosis
