What did the people of Tokyo get the statue of hachiko replaced ?

The people of Tokyo placed hachiko's statue where he used to wait for his master whenever he used to come it was some what like a small junction.

 hachiko everyday went to the railway station to  receive master in front gate  of railway station for his master came and he receive him and  return  back to the home after few years his  master died but hachiko everyday went to the railway station and  still waited his  master returns for many years, then hachiko died after that peoples of tokyo place the statue of hachiko to sit always at waiting spot in outside of railway station that one day he receive his master in his memory  and he also proved his loyalty and faith .
