Policy of Apartheid

• The white Europeans imposed the system of apartheid on the blacks in South Africa, that divided the people on the basis of their skin colour.
• The discriminatory policies of apartheid regime sought to segregate blacks, considered them inferior and deprived them of socio economic and political equality.
• Such a system, flouted the very principle of Equality as Blacks were denied equal opportunities, and followed oppressive discriminatory policies.
• It undermined value of Liberty and freedom, Blacks were denied voting rights and were not allowed to voice their dissent
