When the postmaster received Lencho's letter, he at once started laughing at his foolishness but then after some time he realized the strong faith on God behind writing the letter. So, in order not to shake Lencho's faith on God, the postmaster tried to collect the 100 pesos that Lencho required.

He put all of his salary and also requested his fellow colleagues to help him collect the money for Lencho. At last, they we're as a whole able to collect 70 pesos and then a letter was posted for Lencho, designating as God, with the 70 pesos in it.
