Hey there!!
=>> The Third Battle Of Panipat took place on 14 january 1761 at Panipat between the marathas and the afghan ruler Ahmad Shah Abdali. The Maratha lose the battle.
=> 1) Boundaries of Maratha Empire expanded far and wide in all the directions which did not formally include kingdoms existing there like that of Rajasthan, Punjab, Bengal, Orissa, Karnataka, etc
2) These kingdoms were made to pay tribute to Marathas which was considered as token or symbol of accepting their supremacy
3) These conditions were not acceptable to these kingdoms and as a result they did not support Marathas during the third battle of Panipat .
Hope it helped!!!!☺️
