In the lesson, the postmaster was found to be a kind, helpful, generous, amiable and a God-fearing person. He was often seen helping Lencho. Upon seeing lencho's letter, he became serious and hopefully thought that he might also have faith in god like lencho and he decided to reply to the letter

One of the moral lessons of the story "A Letter to God" is that true faith in God will be rewarded through the charity of other men. The other lesson is that no good deed will go unpunished, as the postmen are blamed for stealing Lencho's money when they in fact provided it

Answer:

A Letter to god is a story of utmost faith of a poor farmer on God.After reading about the postmaster we come to know that he is a man of golden heart and was very generous. In the text he is described as a fat ,amicable fellow. When he read Lenchoxs letter to god he laughed hard at first but soon he was deeply moved by the writers faith in God and decided to take the plunge to help Lencho and his family. He asked some of his friends and office workers to give some money in the name of charity, he also gave part of his salary to help the poor farmer this shows his kind hearted and helpful nature.
