When we heat the water on it heating point then we observed that the particles(atoms) of water move rapidly and constantly. This shows that when water is heated to is boiling point then its particles gets upward in direction and make the whole water hot or warm and if we continue heating then it will turn into vapour(gas). However, its Volume becomes less and it expands.
