What did you realize when you watched the movie the fault in our star by shailene woodley
Answers
Answer:
I haven't seen the movie, but I have read the book "The Fault In Our Stars" by John Green. It indeed is a beautiful book and It has made me realise so many valuable aspects of life, that I couldn't comprehend before. It teaches us that physical hindrances in our life do not and can not stop us from enjoying life in all its glory. It teaches us that it's not necessary to be glamorous or to have a physique that satisfies those beauty standards of the society, to fall in love or to have someone fall in love with you. It teaches us that love is a beautiful emotion that is purely coincidental and non-complicated, but it's we that complicate it ourselves.
Often, we read about the 'death' of a loved one, as an event that completely destroys a character, but this book portrays another aspect of death. When Augustus, the male protagonist, gets to know that he's about to die, instead of getting depressed and shattered, he chose to live the last moments of his life, spending time with his loved ones, seeing then prepare their eulogies, and enjoying.
Some beautiful quotes from the book are as follows -:
- "In the darkest days, the Lord puts the best people into your life."
- "Funerals, I had decided, are for the living."
- Hazel Grace Lancaster
- "Grief does not change you, Hazel. It reveals you."
-Peter Van Houten
- "You dont get to choose, if you get hurt in this world, old man, but you do have some say in who hurts you."
- Augustus waters
I hope it helps you :)
