Villagers help Mrs. Packletide in many ways :-

= To help Mrs. Packletide villagers arrange a tiger for her. So, that she can shoot that tiger.

A goat was left in the jungle that can satisfy the tiger for it's food. Children were left on the boarders so that the tiger would not leave it's place. Women have to take care of not to make noise while passing by. So, that the tiger would not be disturbed.

They also make a machaan for her and her paid companion so that by seeing on that she can shoot the tiger.
