Kezia compared her father with Mr. MacDonald , her next door neighbour . He was a loving , gentle , and forgiving father . He was always smiling , laughing and playing with his children. He treated his children in a very friendly manner.

Mr. MacDonald was just the opposite with Kezias father. Unlike her father , he never punished his children. According to Kezias assumption her father was a very harsh and strict disciplinarian.

She was always in awe of her father .Her father didn't play with her as Mac Donald's play with his children .He is very strict to her.
