Mini's father saw that now Kabuliwala is not having his bag full of dry fruits. When he came back, on that day their was wedding of Mini.

When Kabuliwala(Rahmat) Returned from the prison, the author was no able to recognise him. Kabuliwala has become old and was not having his bag and his face was so dull with sadness over it.
He was still hoping that Mini would be still a child but on that day there was her wedding. Writer said him that today there is lots of work to do and you can't met her. Rahmat went back with sadness by wishing Salad to the author.
