monarchy is a form of government where a king rules the people and the successive king is only the son of the king.

democratic government is a government which is elected by the people in the form of representatives.

drawbacks of the monarchy over the democratic government are that :

in monarchy government even if the son of the king is not capable of becoming a good king he is made the king as per the monarchy system.

in the democratic system as the representatives are elected by people even if the poor representatives in working are elected they can be changed after a regular interval of 5 years.

in monarchy system the supreme ruler of the King which leads to misleading of the decisions many a times whereas in democracy the democratic government provides a room for the correction of mistakes.
