Answer:The Dhangars were primarily shepherds by profession. However, some of them were buffalo herders and a few of them were also breakfast weavers. They also cultivated dry crops in the arid region of the central plateau where they primarily resided before heading towards the Konkan. At the onset of the monsoons in the Konkan, the Dhangars relocated to the plateau.
