1. Liberals did not want universal adult franchise whereas democrats supported it.
2. Liberals believed in the rights provided only to those who owned private properties whereas democrats was against private property, they just wanted equal rights to every citizen.

The democrats formed a party which united several revolutionary organizations. These organisations were for the Russian empire and were united into one party. The party later then split. The liberals in the Russian revolution believed that there must be a system that had to accept all the religions and not concentrating on one religion. the liberals were against rulers that were dynasty.
