Answer:

LandSlides - It occurs so often during rainy season.

SnowFall- There are places like Kinnaur, Lahual Spiti, etc. which are almost cut off from outside world for about 3–4 months during winters.

Roads- Roads are so narrow that in some places only one passenger vehicle can pass. Drivers require so much concentration because if you lost your concentration,on one side of the road is deep ditch and other side is rocky mountain.

Employment- Only in limited areas is it advisable to set up industries so that the adverse effect on the terrain and the water regime can be accepted if not countered.

Earthquakes - UK an HP are more prone to earthquakes. These states lie under zone 4–5.

Heavy rain - The sudden rise in water level in rivers because of rain causes floods and flash floods. Floods are very common in Uttarakhand, in plains there is high risk of flood.

Landslides -  Majority of landslides occur during rainy season but earthquakes can also cause landslides (there are many other factors causing landslides but these two cause more damage). Most of the time roads are blocked or destroyed by big boulders. Transportation is disrupted, houses are destroyed, many get injured.

Cloudburst - Is not a rare phenomenon over here. It is responsible for flash floods and is quite common in both HP and UK. Remember June 15th, kedarnath; that was caused by Cloudburst.

Communication - is another problem people face in high altitude area. There are not many towers so connection is as good as non-existent.

Water, electricity and roads - Electricity and roads are not accessible to the people living in rural areas. Lack of water is problem for all. It may seem like we have many rivers and lake but that does not mean we don’t face water scarcity. Water source are drying. People wait in queues for hours to get some water for their families. Roads are pretty bad with large rocks on one side(you never know when it might fall) and steep slopes on the other side (passing a vehicle is very risky).
