General physician can prescribe medicine to the normal ill patients they are also allowed to treat major diseases but in supervision of seniors physicians but only on there post degree. But maximum of the diseases general physicians can treat except the treatment of major organs. Let's take an example u r suffering from coronary artery blockage u Wil go to a cardiologist even general physician is also able to give medical treatment to that patient but they don't have much more knowledge about a particular organ. So that's y there are super specialists.
