For crossing a man standing ,train has to cover a distance equal the its length i.e. 100m.

Speed = Distance/Time

Time= Distance/Speed

But both distance and speed should be in same unit system.

Time = (100*60*60)÷(30*1000)

=36/3= 12 Sec
