  • Equal representation at State and Central level : A separate government was set up at Brussels where both communities have equal representation.

  • Formation of Community Government: Apart from central and state government, a third form of government was formed which was elected by people belonging to one language community i.e. Dutch, French and German speaking - matter where they live. This government has the power to discuss educational, cultural and language related issues.
