Answer -
- 'Fire' and 'ice' are opposite to each other. The are interlinked at the metaphorical level.
- Fire symbolises desire or passion.
- When a person has fire predominantly, he/she becomes greedy, restless.
- Whereas ice is different from fire. Ice symbolises indifference and hatred. When someone becomes cold in attitude he begins to dislike or hate others.
- Fire and ice are interlinked. When a person is possessed of passion or desire, he/she becomes cruel towards others. He/she only wants to fulfill their own desires.
We should avoid both fire and ice, as both are in way of destruction. We should lead a calm and contented life.
