The main purpose of a government should be to protect the people's natural rights.
They should always strive to be effective and efficient in achieving clearly the objectives of their programmes and policies with specified outcomes.

Government should consult with professionals to ensure that whatever is done is factual and 'actual' (recent)

The government has the main duty to take care of the welfare of people. They are our representatives and they solve our problems.
They discuss the things that are to be done in the parliament and finally the action which has to be done is decided.
By the discussion of the government the welfare of the people is helped.
The main concern of the government is the development of the country and the welfare of the people.
