soft wood- it is easy to break it & is grow in hilly areas like himaliya reason ex.-pine
Hard wood- it is not easily breaked &it is grown in the reason where the temp. is high

Hard wood is wood from angiosperm trees and soft wood is wood from gymnoesperm trees.
