Stephen Leacock in the story "My Lost Dollar", talks about a man who had lend Stephen 30 cent at the Detroit Athletic Club to buy a plain soda. Stephen however felt that he need not return the 30 cents that he had borrowed, as he felt that the man himself knew that Stephen had done various other things to make it upto him. Therefore he also did not spend time or rather chose not to spend time thinking about the man or that money.
