Hey there !

Solution:

According to mankind, Earth is divided into 4 hemispheres. These are namely, Northern Hemisphere, Southern Hemisphere, Eastern Hemisphere and Western Hemisphere.

So for expressing the coordinates of a place in map, a person gives the latitude and longitude in two different coordinates.

Here India has a coordinate in N and other one in E.

Here N refers to the Northern Hemisphere as India is present in the Northern Part of Earth's Equator. Also it is in the Eastern Hemisphere as India lies in the east of the Prime meridian.

Hence the words are denoted as N and E.

Hope my answer helped !
