Answer:

The Himalayan Rivers in their upper course are supposed to carry glaciers and snow along with little sediments and cutting and eroding rocks and mountains.

Explanation:

The Himalayan range is a mother to many rivers forming the Indo Gangetic plain. It includes the three main river basins  -The Indus basin, the Ganga basin, and the Brahmaputra basin.

All of these rivers in their upper course flow down from great heights scarring the rocks and mountains on its way.

They carry snow and glaciers which add more water to the river, stones and pebbles, parts of rocks and silt.

At the upper course, they are not that fertile but flows with enough force while falling from great heights which can be used as hydel power.

On their way, they cause erosion forming a steep valley, gorges, waterfalls, interlocking spurs as the river is narrow at this stage.
