The actual day of Diwali is traditionally celebrated on the festival's third day, which this year falls on Thursday, October 23. there are many festivals made in our country such as diwali. diwali is most important festival for hindus. on this day ,lord rama came from the exile if 14 yrs and after defeating the ravana . before diwali , people whitewash and clean their houses. they decorate their houses with small bulbs and candles . children play with crackers. they wear new dresses. they give sweets to their neighbours. they worship goddess lakshmi. they open door of their houses because they think on this day lakshmi or maya came in their houses
