thermodynamics is the branch of physical science that deals with the relations between heat and other forms of energy (such as mechanical, electrical, or chemical energy), and, by extension, of the relationships between all forms of energy.

electro dynamics is the branch of mechanics concerned with the interaction of electric currents with magnetic fields or with other electric currents.

mechanics is the branch of applied mathematics dealing with motion and forces producing motion.

optics is the scientific study of sight and the behaviour of light, or the properties of transmission and deflection of other forms of radiation.
