Money and power they believe will bring happiness, but it does not.
It is how you live your life and what you do and how you do it that is the most important thing in life as far as I am concerned.
I have never wanted to be in the lime light, I have never wanted to get stardom.
I did a job that helped people and yes it does pay well, but I also did a lot of healing free as I could not see poor people suffer while the rich get all the luxuries in life.
Why should someone be denied health care just because they are poor?
I now am retired and have an 8 year old mid sized car, that i am very happy with, I live in a very modest one bedroomed single storey home and still have just a mid sized T.V. and my computer.
I do not own a lot of property, I do not have precious expensive items. I live modestly and eat at home all the time.
The reason, I give help to poor families and do not ask for anything but a smile. That is all the thanks I need.
So asking me about the rich fat cats as they are called is not going to get you the answer you want to hear, I think?
There is a company owned by one man and he has more money thatn you would know what to do with and the one piece of happiness - his 2 children -were taken in a car crash, because money buys kids fast cars and they are too flash, so what happiness does he have with all his money?
Bill Gates has more money than god and he lives behind bars, bodyguards all around him. Can you really tell me he is happy?
Money is not everything, it helps to be able to live, but you do not need to be obsessed with it. A modest income if good as long as you earn enough to pay your way and eat.
this what I feel about the obsession with money and power. Most powerful people are not liked anyway.
