Kangaroos are mostly plant-eaters or herbivores. They feed on grasses, leaves, flowers, ferns, mosses, vegetables etc.
They have incisors and molar to grind and chew the vegetables.
Some species of kangaroos are omnivores and they feed on insects and eggs of birds.
Like cows, kangaroos are also ruminating animals. They re-chew the food after swallowing it.
