It is also called the Day Of Liberation.
On this day Sikhs, celebrates the release from prison of their sixth Sikh Guru, Guru Hargobind and 52 other Hindu kings with him, in October 1619.
Sikhs celebrated the return of their sixth Guru, Guru Hargobind with the lighting of hundreds of lamps at the Golden Temple.
