The two roads in the poem stand for two choices in front of the poet out of which he had to choose one. Everyday we are faced
with the arduous task of making choices among the options in front of us. Life
is an examination with multiple choice questions, if we don't know the right
option, we may score low, or even fail. So making the right choice is very
crucial for leading a successful life. In the poem 'Road Not Taken', the poet
was also confronted with choice making. Fortunately he made the choice of
taking the less traveled road, and that made all the difference.
