They keep a small proportion of these deposits as cash. Most banks keep around 15% as cash. This is to give the borrower money when he comes on any day. Because the bank doesn't know when the borrower comes. So to give it on any day, some amount is kept as cash. That is what the banks do with the deposits which they collect from the public.

in the banks people deposits their money .the bank give the money to the People who want loans collect it within interest And give that interests to the people who deposites their money
