MONOCOTS ( bicots)

  • They contain a single cotyledon and cannot be separated in 2 parts
  • They have fibrous root system
  • They have parallel and thin venation on their leaves.

DICOTS

  • They contain 2 cotyledons and can be separated in 2 equal parts.
  • They have tap root system
  • They have branched venations on their leaves
