Difference between monocots and dicots are :
MONOCOTS ( bicots)
- They contain a single cotyledon and cannot be separated in 2 parts
- They have fibrous root system
- They have parallel and thin venation on their leaves.
DICOTS
- They contain 2 cotyledons and can be separated in 2 equal parts.
- They have tap root system
- They have branched venations on their leaves
