➡ When alpha , beeta and gamma are the angles between the given vector and X-axis , Y-axis and Z-axis respectively then cos alpha , cos beeta , cos gamma together are known as direction cosine .

In Analytic geometry ,the direction cosines of a vector are the cosines of the angles between the vector and the three coordinate axes.
