★ HYPERMETROPIA ★
hypermetropia is also called long sightedness or foresightedness in hypermetropia it is a defect of eye in which a person can see far objects clearly but cannot see near objects clearly
★ CAUSE ★
there are mainly two causes of hypermetropia :-
- due to law converging power of lens or increase in focal length
- as eyeball becomes too short
★ CORRECTION ★
the defect can be corrected by using convex lens from which the light will get converge so the image can be form in retina

Hypermetropia is also known as far-sightedness. A person with hypermetropia CANNOT see near objects CLEARLY but CAN see distant objects DISTINCTLY. The near point for the infected person is farther away from the normal near point of 25 cm. Such a person must keep the reading material farther away from 25cm for comfortable reading.
