• You want to know which of your friend scored the greatest marks in maths, then you use MAX to know the highest value in the group of numbers.
• And if you want to know which of your friend got the lowest marks in hindi, you will use MIN to know the lowest value among the group of the numbers.

Note:- MAX and MIN only works with numbers, not with alphabets.
