we know that In mathematics, a set is a well-defined collection of distinct objects, considered as an object in its own right. For example, the numbers 2, 4, and 6 are distinct objects when considered separately, but when they are considered collectively they form a single set of size three, written {2, 4, 6}.

or we can say it's as SET. A set is a well-defined collection of distinct objects. Well-defined collection means that there exists a rule with the help of which it is possible to tell whether a given object belongs or does not belong to given collection. Generally sets are denoted by capital letters A, B, C, X, Y, Z etc.
