Hi.
Triple fusion is when male gamete fuses with secondary polar nuclei in the ovule..
Secondary polar nuclei has 2 constituents in it and after fusion there r total 3 including the gamete...so its called triple fusion..

....During fertilisation in plants, one male gamete fuses with the egg cell and forms the zygote.

The other male gamete fuses with the secondary nucleus , this is called triple fusion.
